Anglo - French discussions take place regarding the possibility of conflict. Initial preparations begin for any war with Germany, according to some sources* this includes details as specific as the billetting arrangements (housing of soldiers) for British troops in France.

NOTE: Please remember that war did not break out across Europe until August of 1914. The months prior to the outbreak of war are included to illustrate the build up to the conflict: and as such contain much less interactivity.
