SchoolsHistory has 15 years experience of providing CPD to teachers. Ranging from one to one sessions with NQT's to providing course content for MA courses, we have catered for the training needs of History teachers at all stages of their careers. As experienced teachers we are fully aware of the need to provide guidance that can be transferred straight into your classroom. CPD sessions are practical in nature - we don't do lectures!

Dan has delivered CPD on the effective use of ICT to colleagues ranging from trainees all the way through to delivering a Masters Level unit to experienced teachers and senior managers.
CPD on Cross Curricular ICT is offered as workshops for groups of staff for specific teaching methods and technologies such as:

- Using Interactive Whiteboards effectively
- Using ICT to make links between subjects
- Making use of a VLE
- Using SMART technologies
- Creating and using effective digital resources
- Pupils as movie makers
- E-Safety
- Structuring online research
- Using technology to engage with the wider community

In 2009 a Cross Curricular project we worked on was awarded a Becta Award.

About our CPD products

Dan has led ICT projects on behalf of subject associations and Becta. He worked as an AST for Cross Curricular ICT and is author of several well established educational websites. Away from the classroom, Dan has also worked closely with numerous providers of ICT services.
