of photographs taken by webmaster at different sites, pictures contributed
by users of the site and images believed to be in the public domain.
Please

to contribute a caption for an image.

Union Virtual School's Oral History Project on the Second World
War. The project is gathering accounts from all theatres of war, from
civilians and servicement. Please

Recent
Additions to the Image galleries:
Following
a recent visit to Rome there ar// of interest from Rome. These contain
pictures taken at the Colosseum,
at the Roman
Forum, at the Circus
Maximus, the Trevi
fountain and a fifth
gallery containing other pictures of interest, including the Pantheon.
Further Rome galleries are in preparation.
Coming
Soon:
In
addition to the Rome galleries that are being completed over the holiday
period the following galleries are near completion: The Crusades, The
French town of Oradour, Imperial Russia and Rural Russia and a selection
of Public Domain images from the The Second World War.
Additions are also being made to the D
Day landing beaches page, the First
World War Image gallery and the Paris
galleries.
Ongoing
work:

Captions in the V1 and V2 rocket gallery are being double checked for
accuracy.

Broken links in several galleries. (To overcome the vast majority of
these simply change the extension from upper to lower caste).

This site is also willing to host any galleries of users pictures of
Historic interest.
