The Water Lily's in Monet's garden. The inspiration for some of Claude Monet's finest pieces of Artwork.

Monet's Garden Official Website

View down one of the many pathways in Monet's garden. Claude Monet spent hours working in the garden, this section is but a small part of his extensive and beautiful gardens.

Shrubbery in Monet's garden. Not all of the garden is based around flowers. Some of the most pleasant sights are of the lawns and shrubs planted by Claude Monet.

Pleasant walkways and passages are found throughout this wonderful garden.

The stream in Monet's garden was also an inspiration for the famous artist. This view shows how tranquil the garden must have been as he painted.
As you can see, very few of Monet's paintings have pieces of garden furniture in them. There are no garden benches, chimineas or barbeques. Monet was more interested in capturing the flowers and their colours
The Water Lily's in Monet's garden. An alternative view of the fantastic pond.
Another view of the pond and Water Lily's. This image is taken from the place where Monet say whilst painting the world famous Water Lily's painting.

Stream and bridge in the garden. The inspiration for several of Monet's finest pieces of artwork.
