The Great Plague of 1665 Look closely at the broadsheet newspaper: What does it tell us about peoples beliefs at the time?
Look at the headline, it suggests fear. What does the illustration on the front page of the newspaper show us? Is it people fleeing the city? The pages border is illustrated with skulls, skeletons and shovels. Think about the reasons for this. (Double check the original illustration to make sure) To both sides of the page are columns.
